So today started out awful. I had a shoot this morning at 11:00 and it was cancelled due to terrible thunderstorms in our area. After I handled that it hit me, “Today is Nicole’s wedding day”. I will be honest, I felt terrible. Now I have done a wedding in the snow, but the rain has always held off for me. When I realized that we were in for a day full of rain my heart just went out to her. However, about 12:00 today the rain stopped and I started to have a little hope! I arrived at Bullock Springs expecting a disheartened bride, but not Nicole! She was calm, and totally okay with the ceremony change. The wedding went off without a hitch, with the rain holding till the last couple minutes of the party. We were able to do all of the photos outside, and I am so pleased with how they came out. Nicole, you and Thomas are just perfect. I love the quiet but solid way you love each other. You were one of the most stunning brides I have ever worked with. Not only because you rocked that dress, and the rain situation but also because of the way you treat people. I have never had a bride so concerned about me, and so thankful and sweet. Honestly. & girl I hope the Lord blesses you and Thomas with a house full of kids if that’s what he wants for you both, because you light up with a little one and are just the best with all those little nieces and nephews! So enjoyed working with you both. Enjoy your “fiery” sneak peak!
