Saturday had been on my radar for awhile, as the first of a wild two-wedding weekend. I just don’t do them often because I have to spend so much time away from the kids but I really connected with both of my brides and knew I had to do it! It also had been on my mind because of the dreaded r-word, rain. Megan and I spoke briefly of a rain plan but I was so thrilled to wake up and find a beautiful, sunny day. Megan & Anthony chose to get married in a church that is very special to their family. They got ready at the beautiful Marietta Conference Center & hotel, but due to some scheduling conflicts, chose to utilize the Brumby House & Gardens as well and I so thankful we did! Their reception was held at Cedar Plantation and the day really was so great! Megan and Anthony clearly are very much in love with each other, and the patient way they love and parent their son Clayton was evident from the moment I saw them together. I’ve never seen such beautiful, hand- written and heart-driven vows. Megan & Anthony, I wish you a lifetime as beautiful as the day you said, “I do”. Enjoy!
